CANAC Board of Directors – Application

Applying to the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Nurses in HIV/AIDS Care (CANAC) is a unique opportunity to help advance care, advocacy, and education in HIV/AIDS nursing. As a board member, you will collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to improving health outcomes and supporting individuals and communities affected by HIV/AIDS. Your role will include representing your region, shaping CANAC’s strategic direction, and driving initiatives that support nurses’ professional growth in this critical field. Please fill out the form below if you are interested in serving in one of these roles with the Canadian Association of Nurses in HIV/AIDS Care (CANAC). The leadership terms include multiple roles and representatives:

  • The presidential term is a four-year commitment, beginning with one year as President-Elect from November 2024 to November 2025, followed by two years as President from November 2025 to November 2027, and concluding with one year as Past President from November 2027 to November 2028.
  • The board representatives for Prairies North, Atlantic, and Ontario will serve two-year terms from November 2024 to November 2026. These representatives will play a key role in shaping the direction of the organization and representing their respective regions.
